Mark Henry “Fired”, Raw Rating, Punk/Bryan Praised, New Creative Member
- Due to his groin injury Mark Henry was written out of storylines at last night’s Smackdown taping.
Teddy Long entered him in to the Elimination Chamber match, but he complained that the odds weren’t fair and that he wanted a one on one title match.
Long then pulled him from the match and said he won’t be getting any title matches.
Angered by this, Henry put his hands on Long and was suspended indefinitely.
He’ll now take time off to heel.
- This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, drew a 3.55 cable rating on the USA Network. This is up from the previous week’s 3.18 number. The show veraged 5.39 million viewers in the first hour, and 5.1 million in the second hour.
- Cm Punk and Daniel Bryan got considerable recognition for their match on Raw. Here are some Tweets:

[Think back to 2004, who'd have thought these two "Indy" stars would be on top of the WWE? It goes to show that there's only so much the WWE Developmental can teach].
- According to the Variety Entertainment journal WWE has signed former Warner Bros. executive Eric Pankowski to the position of Senior VP of Creative and Development. His job entails overseeing the general creative process under the supervision of Stephanie McMahon, and he’ll also be developing new shows for the WWE Network.
Because of his strong ties to the TV industry, Pankowski will also help with the sale and distribution of WWE’s product to networks, studios, and distributors.
